This programme, run by the NI Sports Forum, is a great way for females who are seeking to become more actively involved in the running of their club, to learn about the skills and practicalities required in the successful running of a club.
The program will be formatted into three-hour workshops designed for females (18+) who want to make an active contribution to improve their club or organisation, by utilising their own skill set and knowledge and transferring them to the roles and responsibilities needed within a management committee.
The sessions are aimed at both current committee members as well as those who are seeking the confidence and skills to join a committee for the first time.
These workshops will cover an introduction to; roles and responsibilities, policies and procedures, governing documents and legislation and the principles of the code of good governance.
The workshops will be held in five venues across Northern Ireland including Belfast, Ballymena, Armagh, Omagh, Derry/Londonderry. If you are interested or know of someone who would love to attend, please ensure you book your place to avoid disappointment.
