Update on Time Trials this Sunday

Hi Folks I have had a lot of phone calls ref the time trial race and have extended the entry to Sunday morning.

With classes clashing and people not being able to make the first race or not able to stay for the last race it has been decided that a paddler can enter a class in any race and the fastest time of the day for that class will win. It may even be possible that all classes can be run over the first 2 races.

The weather for Sunday is starting sunny then becoming wet and windy in the evening.

Water conditions are high water with flow and as the course is fairly sheltered it should make for a good days racing.

This race is an attempt to promote paddling sport so please come along and perhaps pick up the first Irish championship medal of 2014

The event will consist of 3 races over the day (12.01.13). The event will start and finish at the Lakeland Forum Enniskillen. The course is a 5k lap starting around the Erneside Shopping centre foot bridge paddling to the main lake and turning right for 200 mtrs before commencing an anticlockwise loop heading upstream and turning just before the Ardowen theatre and continuing downstream to the starting point.
