The Canoe Sprint World Championship’s kicked off in Milan this week and CANI athlete Jonny Young has already bagged himself a medal.
In the final event for Wednesday’s morning schedule Jonny took to the water for his VL3 qualifier. In a strong performance he won and qualified directly for the Final.
He continued his strong performances into the final pushing hard right to the final winning a SILVER medal in the VL3 category and becoming Vice-World Champion.
CANI would like to congratulate Jonny on this amazing achievement and we can’t wait to hear more about this remarkable experience!
