Erne Paddlers Fundraising Paddle
For the RNLI
Bank Holiday Mon 4th May
The paddle is free; however we just would ask donations to be made to the RNLI on the day!
Meeting at Carrybridge slip way. Paddling around the islands of Upper Lough Erne.
Two paddles organised, one for the morning and then one in the afternoon.
Morning paddle Sign on 9am, leave 10am back at 1pm
Afternoon Paddle Sign on 1pm leave 2pm back at 5pm.
These are recreational paddles suitable for the family. There is scope for those who want to go on a longer paddle as paddlers will be organised into groups of ability! People bringing their own boats must make sure they have buoyancy and are in a safe condition. Buoyancy aids must be worn, dress appropriately for the conditions, have a change of warm clothes, drink and food. There will be a stop off on some of the islands for something to eat. Coaches and safety organised by Erne Paddlers. Club boats available, these are limited and prior booking required.
The RNLI will be there and opportunity to view the new Life Boat Station at Carrybridge.
