CANI Annual Turkey and Pudding Paddles – Wednesday 27th December

The Turkey and Pudding Paddles are suitable and open to families, clubs, paddlers of all ages and abilities and can be paddled in any type of craft. So dust down your boat and come and join us on these sociable paddles. If you don’t have a boat you can hire an open canoe from CANI at a reasonable cost. Appropriate paddling kit should be brought, for example: Buoyancy Aid, Waterproofs and change of clothes etc.

The following 2 trips will take place on Wednesday 27th December at the following 2 locations.

Lagan Trip  

We will meet at Belfast Boat Club at Stranmillis for 10.00am, then have a relaxing paddle down the Annadale embankment with a lunch stop at Ormeau slipway. We aim to finish back at the boat club for 2.30pm.

Erne Trip

We will meet at Lake land forum car park for 10.00am, then go for a relaxing paddle on Lough Erne up to Devenish Island for lunch. We aim to finish back at the forum for 2.30pm.

The Turkey Paddles and equipment must be booked before 4.30pm Wednesday 20th December.
You will receive an email on Thursday 21st December with final details of trip.

CANI Members – free
Non Members – £10.00

Boat Hire:
CANI members – £10.00
Non Members – £15.00
*For hire of a boat, paddle and buoyancy aid. (Please note equipment requirements in ‘Additional Information’ on the booking form.)

“If you plan to take part in more than one recreation paddle why not take out recreational membership at a cost of £18 per year or family membership at a cost of £25 introductory and £5 for each additional member per year. This would be much more economical, as recreational paddles are free to all members and the cost of boat hire is at a reduced price.”
