Meet and Trip Plan:
We will meet on Saturday 23rd June 2018 at access point 3 Newferry East on the Lower Bann for a 10am. Depending on the weather on the day, the trip will be one of the following;
- Newferry East, Lough Beg and return Newferry East
- Newferry East to Portglenone
- Newferry East to Toome
All paddles are subject to weather conditions.
Venue Description:
Stretching from Lough Neagh to the Atlantic Ocean, this Canoe Trail provides a unique way to experience the beautiful River Bann. Passing through constantly changing scenery, the trail offers both tranquil waters and some faster flowing sections. The river is also steeped in history dating back to Mesolithic times.

Non Members – £10.00
Boat Hire:
CANI members – £10.00
Non Members – £15.00
*For hire of a boat, paddle and buoyancy aid. (Please note equipment requirements in ‘Additional Information’ on the booking form.)
If you plan to take part in more than one recreation paddle, why not take out a recreational membership at a cost of £18 per year, or family membership at £25 introductory fee and £5 for each additional member, per year. This would be much more economical, with free recreational paddles to all members and a reduced cost for boat hire.
