Far and Wild has teamed up with Derry City and Strabane District Council’s Strabane Angling Fair to deliver a freshwater kayaking experience with a difference!
Our Wild Atlantic Salmon Tours will be running throughout the 2-day Festival at a reduced cost to provide unique eco-tours by stable double sea kayak on the Mourne and Foyle Rivers from Strabane to the Red Bridge.
The Wild Atlantic Salmon Tour explains the origins and development of the Foyle Catchment as a salmon river throughout history and emphasises its uniqueness throughout Ireland and Europe. As well as a wonderful kayaking experience suitable for adults and children over the age of 10 years, the tour is an education into river ecology and what people can do to help make the river a healthier place for breeding salmon.
