Meet and Trip Plan:
We will meet on Saturday 7th April at Portadown Boat Club on the Bann for a 10am start. The trip plan will be to paddle up the Bann and Newry Canal. Then cross over into the Cusher and paddle down the Cusher, back into the Bann to finish back at Portadown Boat Club for 3pm. The day’s paddle will be relaxed, with a few breaks and pleasant lunch stop in the middle, so please bring a lunch along with you.
All paddles are subject to weather conditions.
Venue Description:
The Bann River, Newry Canal and Cusher River offer a really sheltered trip with no shuttle required, which is great for beginners.
