I have been involved since 2013

What motivated you to begin performance canoeing/kayaking?

I heard of surf kayaking and was interested about it, so I came to a few of the come and try it days and I instantly loved it.

Surf Kayaking

What are your greatest achievements thus far?

4th Ladies HP in European Championship 2014

11th Junior HP in World Championship 2015

13th Ladies HP in World Championship 2015

What do you hope to achieve in the future?

I hope to win the World Championships in the future and encourage more girls to get involved in surf kayaking.

Who has been the greatest influence in your career?

My daddy for encouraging me, standing on the beach (whatever the weather), taking me to all the training sessions and competitions and most of all putting up with me!

Who are you currently sponsored by?

Nobody yet but I am open to offers!

When you’re not canoeing/kayaking what do you like to do in your spare time?

I play netball with my school and outside of school.

Do you have any superstitions before you compete?

Yes, I have yet to master my nervousness and belief in myself but once I get out in the water I become more confident.

Who is your most admired sports person?

I don’t admire one sports person in particular but I love to talk to other more experienced paddlers and take on their advice.

What, if any injuries have you sustained?

Apart from the usual bumps and bruises and a staved finger, I haven’t had any major injuries yet.
