Completing the ‘Moderate Water Leader’ award (formally the 4* award) will indicate that you have the personal skill level and leadership ability required to lead a group of paddlers in the moderate water environment. During the course you will develop your leadership, judgement and technical skills in the discipline of your choice, expanding your knowledge and further developing your paddling experience.
This award acts as pre requisites to other British Canoeing awards.
Registration
Registration is required prior to moderate water leader assessment. You must be aged 16 or over to complete your assessment. It is advisable to register at least 2-weeks prior to assessment.
Please note: Candidates need to ensure their safety and rescue skills are current and up-to-date before presenting for an assessment.
