Lower Bann, Recreational Paddle – Saturday 9th April 2022

Meet and Trip Plan:
We will meet on Saturday 9th April 2022 at Portglenone for a 10am start paddling up stream towards Newferry, stopping for lunch at Portglenone Forest.

All paddles are subject to weather conditions.

Venue Description:
Stretching from Lough Neagh to the Atlantic Ocean, this Canoe Trail provides a unique way to experience the beautiful River Bann. Passing through constantly changing scenery, the trail offers both tranquil waters and some faster flowing sections. The river is also steeped in history dating back to Mesolithic times.

CANI Recreational Paddles:
CANI Members – Free
Non-Members – £10.00

Boat Hire:
CANI members – £10.00
Non-Members – £15.00

If you plan to take part in more than one recreation paddle why not take out recreational membership at a cost of £18 per year or family membership at a cost of £45 full membership and £5 for each additional family member per year. This would be much more economical, as recreational paddles are free to all members and the cost of boat hire is at a reduced price.
