Transport NI are carryout out work on the road bridge at Kilmore on the Annacloy River.
There will be extensive work over the next six months which will result in possible obstructions in the river. The work seems to be taking place on the village side – which is normally the only feasible egress/ access point. The river flow under the bridge itself is only partly restricted, so paddlers could still use one arch to pass safely, this may change during the works.
We advise that care is taken in this area to avoid any man made constructions.
CANI have asked Transport NI to ensure that signage will be put in place and that paddlers are able to make a safe passage past the bridge.
If you experience difficulties at the site please let CANI know and we will contact the contractor.
