The Irish Youth Foundation provides small and standard grants to voluntary organisations, community groups and local charities in the UK. Applicants must be welfare groups working for the benefit of Irish children and young people.
The funding is for projects which benefit young Irish people and children up to the age of 30 years who are living in England, Scotland and Wales and up to 25 years of age for those living in Northern Ireland.
To be eligible, projects should help young Irish people and their families who are disadvantaged and in need. A wide range of activities may be funded including homelessness, employment and training, domestic violence, young offenders, combating discrimination, counselling and drug rehabilitation.
Grants of up to £5,000 are available for organisations in Northern Ireland.
The deadline for applications is 17 February 2017.
