Last year, Sport NI in partnership with Waterways Ireland were successful in applying to the EU Erasmus Plus program in relation to the European Week of Sport. One outcome of this was a very successful Flotilla event on Lough Erne and the River Foyle which brought lots of different boaters together to paddle along the rivers. Due to the success of the event and the positive feedback received they are once again organising a Flotilla and are encouraging all clubs to come along and join in on the fun. As well as bringing everyone together for a great event, your involvement will also help showcase watersports clubs in Northern Ireland and celebrate the “Get WET” Weekend which will be rolled out in various countries in Europe.
We’d appreciate if you could register this week if you plan to attend as this will help greatly in planning logistics and ensuring a fun and smoothly run event.

We would love to get as many clubs and participants involved as possible to help make a great noise about water sports to the media and public and celebrate the clubs.
Participants must bring their own crafts and buses will be provided to shuttle participants back for cars.
