This year’s Irish Open will be held on Castle Island, Enniskillen on the 22nd and 23rd August.
An entry fee of €100 per team is required in advance of entry to the competition. Foreign teams travelling from outside of Ireland will be given free entry and entry confirmed once proof of travel details is provided eg. a copy of flight tickets for team members, etc.Teams entering and paying on or before the 10th can avail of €100 entry fee. After this date, entry will rise to €110.
Currently entries are open for the following divisions:
- Divison 1
- Division 2
- Division 3
- Under 16’s
- Ladies
This is going to be a huge event with a Ceili on Saturday Night, a Pig on a Spit Roast and a Tipi all arranged for over the weekend.
Camping is available for €10 or £7.50 per person per night from Friday. The campsite location is in the middle of Enniskillen town on Castle Island. Pete Boyle will be collecting money for camping at the venue.
If there are any Juniors or Adults who are interested but not enough to make up a team please contact info@belfastkayakacademy and they will help those to form teams together.
