How and when did you get into Canoeing/Kayaking?
My dad did a little kayaking when he was younger and I tried it recreationally a few times with him, I got into slalom through a come and try it day when I was 12/13 which got me into the old Northern Ireland Development Squad.
What is your favourite aspect of the sport?
I enjoy the fact it’s an individual sport just you and the water. The feeling on the water when you get a really tight move or when you use the water well and the boat glides easily is second to none.
