Limavady council are commencing work on the River Roe. Work will commence at Swann’s Bridge on the River Roe in the next few weeks to install canoe steps, this work will in turn be followed by the development of further infrastructure at Limavady Town below the fish counter in the area known locally as The Plum. This development will provide access to around 8 kms of flat water on the Roe from Limavady Town to Swann’s Bridge.
