It is a busy week for the CANI Performance Programme with all three squads are travelling overseas to compete in major competitions. Surf Squad
This week the Surf Squad is involved in the Surf Kayak World Championships which are being hosted in Galicia, Spain. CANI are delighted that an 8 strong squad of:

Sprint Squad
This weekend the Sprint Squad are headed to Nottingham to compete in the July National Regatta. CANI are delighted that a 3 strong squad of:

Are representing Northern Ireland at this event. During the weekend they will be joined by Girls4Gold Athlete Afton Fitzhenry who is just back from a training camp in Canada. Ray Sweetlove and Ben Dooley will be taking on the tough task of combining both competing in both K2 and K4 and providing coaching for the Development Squad. Slalom Squad

Are taking part in a joint training camp with Canoe Wales in Prague. A truly world-class venue hosting the World Championships as recently as 2013 and a World Cup just 2 weeks ago this is an invaluable camp giving them the exposure to the tight and technical water Prague is known for.
