In light of the drive from the Charities Commission NI (CCNI) around the potential requirement to register, Sport NI are facilitating a training session regarding the process for Clubs. As you may be aware, Clubs have an alternative – to become a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC). The CASC registration process, which takes place with HMRC, will also be covered during the session.
Please note places are limited and you can confirm your attendance by emailing maxinebanford@sportni.net no later than Friday 17th February 2017.
If you have previously attended it may useful to use the session to refresh your knowledge. Alternatively you may wish to nominate others in your organisation to attend who would benefit from the information to inform and advise clubs.
The sessions will be delivered by CCNI and HMRC on the 1 March 2017 in the House of Sport. Sandwiches and tea/coffee will be provided.
