The Canoe Association of Northern Ireland are seeking a dynamic coach to join a small but developing team. CANI have a focus on developing its performance disciplines and supporting athletes to achieve success at the highest level. The successful applicant will play a key role the development of all aspects of performance canoeing within Northern Ireland.
The Northern Ireland Talent Programme embraces the British Canoeing philosophy and approach to developing talented athletes. CANI aims to create an athlete pathway structure aligned with the British Canoeing strategy, which increases the strength and depth of the talent pool across the UK. The Talent Coach will be employed by CANI, but will develop close working relationships with British Canoeing performance staff.
The contract is fixed term until the 31st March 2017 subject to Sport N.I funding and with possibility of extension.
Starting salary for this post will be £24,500
