This Paddle Club School Partnership Agreement has been developed to provide a checklist of considerations for Clubs and Schools to review and agree in order to implement good child safeguarding practice into their paddle activities.
CANI encourages all Paddle Clubs to actively create links with local Schools to introduce school children to paddling as a water sport to get them fit & healthy. The activities may have to happen off the school premises at the club facility. Also, to deliver the activity it may be important for school staff to be present on dry land or in the water with children.
