The Annual General Meeting of The Canoe Association of Northern Ireland will be held on 2nd December 2020 at 19.00, via online video conference call using Zoom. Further details, including proxy forms, agenda and joining instructions will follow.
At this meeting there will be the opportunity for members to elect directors to the board. There are three positions open to nominations from members. These positions are voluntary, and directors are elected for a 2-year term. There are approximately 10 meetings a year and additional commitments as agreed. The nomination and election are to the board, roles are allocated by the directors. Two roles the board are currently looking to fill are Chairperson and Secretary.
To nominate someone for a position on the board, you should return the completed nomination form, (available here) by email no later than noon on the 18th November 2020. Forms can only be accepted by e-mail.
Please note, only current members are entitled to nominate as per the CANI Memorandum and Articles of Association.
