Call for British Canoeing Paddle-ability Foundation and Inclusive Coaching Module Providers.

The Canoe Association of Northern Ireland is seeking eight Tutors for the Paddle-ability Foundation and Inclusive Coaching Modules. These Continuous Professional Development (CPD) modules are part of the suit that British Canoeing offer.

If you are interested in being considered to become a Tutor of the Paddle-ability Modules you need to complete and submit an application.

Applicants are invited from coaches who meet the following criteria:

  • Updated British Canoeing UKCC Level 2 Coach (or equivalent); Applicants who would like to use their coaching experience as equivalence for a UKCC Level 2 qualification should utilise the APL process.
  • Recent experience of tutoring and educating coaches.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of working with people with a disability.
  • Condition of orientation – deliver two courses over the next three years.

Orientation will be free to successful applicants and the condition to this is that you most deliver two foundation and inclusive coaching module courses over the next three years.

The orientation will take place on – Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th March.

Location: Portadown

Duration: Saturday 9.00am – 5.00pm and Sunday 9.00am – 3.00pm.

Non-Residential

Personal Equipment – You will need paddling equipment. All other equipment will be available at the orientation.
