CANI is committed to ensuring that all employers to include Providers, clubs and organisations carry out an enhanced disclosure on any paddlesport related personnel who have access to young people who are deemed to be in regulated activity.
The applicant/volunteer, engaging in Regulated Activity must complete an Enhanced Disclosure Vetting Check here prior to confirmation in the role.
This is the CANI PIN number and will ensure that your online application is automatically forwarded to CANI for processing- 878217. Please enter it carefully. NOTE – This is a new PIN from April 2021, applications submitted under the previous PIN will still be processed.
All coaches and volunteers who will have regular contact with children or young people must complete the relevant checks before they are active within your Paddle Club. In Northern Ireland, AccessNI provides these checks.
Enhanced checks are normally required where the applicant will work or volunteer in a role providing services to or having close and regular supervision of children or vulnerable adults.
The club will issue an Access NI ID Verification Form to each applicant.
Clubs can also download a Safeguarding Reference Form. Please note that this does not need to be forwarded to CANI.
