We had a great turn out for our Turkey paddle this year. Forty five paddlers braved the freezing temperatures and a great time was had by all. Two trips took place on the day. One from Maydown to Bonds, and one from Blackwater to Bonds, which was a shorter trip and it was great to see lots of junior paddlers there with their parents. Both groups met at the Moy for lunch and paddled as a large group to Bonds. The car park at bonds resembled more of an Ice rink!! Let’s just say there was lots of entertainment there! We then went to the Auction Rooms in the Moy for some mulled wine and soup, which certainly warmed us up again! I would like to thank all who participated, and I would also like to thank Tollymore for all of the support that they provided. There are several more recreational paddles going on throughout the year, so keep an eye on the website as it would be great to see you all again.
