Sport NI Clubmark Information

Over the last few months Sport NI have organised a number of Clubmark NI Information Sessions throughout the various district councils in Northern Ireland. The main aim of these sessions are to market the Clubmark NI programme on a wider scale throughout NI and inform both sports clubs and  individual members of the benefits and merits of the accreditation scheme. An Information Session for clubs in the North and North West of the province is scheduled for Wednesday 25th March at 6:30pm in Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre in Ballymoney . The format of the evening will be a 30 minute presentation by myself (Sport NI’s ‘Club Development Consultant’) followed by a short Q &  A session where clubs will have the opportunity to ask specific questions on Clubmark NI and the processes involved in gaining accreditation. I will be able to answer any queries clubs may have on gaining accreditation through their respective governing body or the local government Clubmark NI Scheme.

A brief synopsis of the areas which will be covered are as follows

  • Clubmark NI background
  • Clubmark NI club journey
  • Assessment Process
  • Support provided
  • Linkage with the regional consortia schemes
  • Core criteria and minimum operating standards
  • Benefits for each club

Tea and Coffee will be provided on the evening. If you are interested in attending the Information Session please confirm your attendance by contacting myself on 02890383202 or declansteele@sportni.net
